This is the worst part about this job; writer’s block. You hit that wall where no matter what, you just can’t formulate a great idea that flows into an article.
It’s almost like someone hit a button and shut off the creative part of my brain. And now, it needs to reboot.
But the problem is……….where do we go from here? How do we escape the treacherous depths of the dreaded “writer’s block?”
Now, there are a few ways to do this. One of my favorites is do something out of the ordinary for the day. Now, I’m not saying dude something stupid to completely alter your life, but change up your week a bit.
You can do something like go to the movie theater on a Tuesday. For me, that always helps because it gets me out of the house for a bit, and it also gets me out of my normal routine that I’m stuck in.
Another one I do enjoy is a quick workout to get the blood pumping. Some sort of exercise always got me into a rhythm that would translate into my writing.
And a third would be a good nights sleep. Sleep is always something you need to help recharge the batteries, and to get you thinking clearly the next day.
Above all though, if that doesn’t work, adding pictures to an article always provides excellent content………
But there is no need to worry here fans, this doesn’t mean that I have “lost” my ways. Writers Block is a very real, and very treacherous thing that can happen to writers. I just need to stay the course, and very soon the articles will just begin to FLOW!
