Enzo Amore, the “Smack Talker Skywalker” as he likes to call himself, is currently in a rivalry with his previous best friend Big Cass. But the question is, what are they going to do with Enzo after this?
From what many are speculating, the WWE is going to try and push Big Cass as the next “big man” singles competitor. And what some are speculating from Enzo range from making the transition to the Cruiserweight division, to just being let go from the company all together.
His future is really kind of in limbo, and some don’t know what to make of it.
The thing is though, in all of the reports that I have read, I have not seen anything mention him becoming a manager.
The scene for managers now is just not the same as before. Back in the day, you had guys spanning from Jimmy Hart and Captain Lou Albano, to the unforgettable Paul Bearer.
But now, you have Paul Heyman, who is one of the great managers in history. I will also give some respect to Titus O’Neal with the whole “Titus Brand” gimmick he has going on right now. But who else? James Ellsworth with Carmella? Maryse with The Miz?
That’s why WWE needs a new, fresh face as a manager. It’s just something we haven’t seen in a while.
With his mic skills, Enzo Amore can really draw in the attention of the audience, and get them excited for just about anything. And not only that, his promos also have the ability to get the new guys over coming out of NXT.
For example, lets say you have a large indestructible tag team coming up from NXT. They are great in the ring, but are very lacking on the mic. WWE would be able to team them up with Enzo so that he can get them over with the fans, with minimal promos from the team themselves.
But if they don’t like that, the WWE really needs to figure SOMETHING out in order to keep Enzo. He is a GOLDMINE of epic proportions for the company, whether it’s TV appearances, or merchandise. Letting him go would end up being a major disappointment for all parties.
Now that you know what I think, I want to know what you think. VOTE below on the Weekly Sports World Twitter Poll with your opinion on if Enzo Amore would make a great manager.
